Software Development Engineer

Work Flexibility: HybridStryker is looking for a talented, hands-on Software Engineer to join our growing organization. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of user interfaces for a suite of products used by health care facilities all over the world. The Smart Hospital platform supports integration with internal and external systems and enables flexible clinical workflows through a common framework and rules engine. You will create work with user experience and marketing experts to craft new clinical tools and displays.This role is hybrid, with the expectation to be in office 3 days a week in Fort Wayne, Indiana.What You Will Do:Design and implementation of web-based interfaces on Smart Care's platformsLeverage SOLID design principals, design patterns, and apply them to address specific product requirementsCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to build full robust solutionsPartner effectively with the product owner and key internal stakeholders to determine product requirementsEnsure quality by creation of automated unit, functional and system testsDocument designs and ensure traceability of requirementsLeverage AI tools for efficiency and speed without compromising quality and maintainabilityWhat You Will Need:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline0+ years of experiencePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of common networking and messaging protocols such as TCP, UDP, SOAP, REST, XMPP, JSON, XML, RTP, SIPExperience with Git, unit testing, code review processes, Agile development methodologiesSome experience with client-side frameworks such as AngularJS$77,700 - $129,500 USD AnnualTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
