Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years current Emergency Room experience License: Active Licensure required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) ACLS (American Heart Association) PALS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Active American Heart Association certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS Emergency Room skills checklist documentation One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment Permanent address must be included in submission file RTO request cannot exceed more than 3 days Description: This position is for a Night Shift Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The shift schedule is from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The facility operates at Trauma Level III. Cerner is the EMR used in this setting. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room experience. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. Having a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred. Experience with Cerner EMR is highly preferred. All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission. Applicants whose permanent address is within 50 miles of the facility cannot be considered.
