Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development in young children
• Experience working in a school setting and familiarity with special education processes (IEPs, progress monitoring)
• Excellent organizational and data management skills to ensure thorough documentation
• Confident communicator; able to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Comfort with providing both direct student support and consultative recommendations for classroom implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services based on IEP goals, tailoring strategies for each K-3 student
• Monitor and document progress toward OT objectives, gathering data and preparing clear progress reports
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to develop classroom strategies supporting student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights on student progress and assisting with interpreting OT data
• Ensure all services and records comply with special education requirements and best practices
• Maintain positive, constructive relationships across the student support team
