Function:
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Lawrence, MA.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.
Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention.
Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.

Requirements:
Shift: Nights, 7pm to 7am - 36hrs per week

Requirements for the positions:
Active MA License
2 years ER experience and travel experience
Must be comfortable with all Cases including pediatric
BLS & ACLS
Must have PALS & TNCC before starting

2 Supervisor references Both references need to be from a manager/supervisor from somewhere they have worked in the past year

Merrimack Health Interview Process:
HWL Clinical team will complete the initial review of the packet. They will either reject or move forward with Initial Phone Screen
If candidate is chosen for next steps, HWL Clinical team will reach out to candidate directly via phone call and text to set up a time to complete phone screen.
Once phone screen is completed, interview notes and packet will be sent over to the hiring manager with the facility.
Depending on unit, manager will either call for a 2nd interview or there will be an offer based off of initial phone screen.
