Job Summary:
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (Rock Island, Illinois) is a dynamic travel nursing opportunity within a high-level trauma center. The position involves providing specialized care within the telemetry and medical-surgical units, supporting patients with complex cardiac needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: 12 hours
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois state license, Illinois license required; Iowa license on offer required. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) are required. A drivers license, work history or resume, and skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission are required. License verification and a supervisory reference at the time of submission are also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac and open heart experience; at least one previous travel contract completed.
• Additional Information: The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The assignment requires working 1-2 of 3 designated holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Prior experience with chest tubes, femstop (femoral stabilization device), trachs, central lines, drains, CBI (Continuous Bladder Irrigation), and medication titrations such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban is required.
