Retirement & Insurance Benefits Coordinator (Temp to Perm)

Location: West Palm Beach, FL (On-site) 
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour plus great benefits including Health, 401k, Pension, PTO and more
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a consultative, empathetic Benefits Rep to guide prospective retirees through their health benefits and retirement plans. In this role, there are zero sales targets or quotas. Your sole focus is providing exceptional customer service, education, and administrative support to dedicated public servants as they transition into retirement.

What You Will Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective retirees, answering complex questions regarding health insurance options, Medicare transitions, and retirement/pension plan structures.
Walk employees step-by-step through their retirement enrollment forms and health benefit selections.
Review application data for accuracy, ensuring compliance with government guidelines and insurance policies.
Liaise between retirees and health insurance providers to resolve enrollment or coverage inquiries.
Conduct informational sessions or one-on-one counseling meetings (in-person and virtually).

What We Are Looking For
Associate a must; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience working within life, health, or Medicare insurance (e.g., Former Insurance Agent, Account Manager, or Insurance CSR) is highly valued.
Ability to break down complex insurance jargon and retirement formulas into simple, easy-to-understand terms for older adults.
Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage sensitive, confidential employee data accurately.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning internal government database systems.
