Job Title: Senior Personal Injury Attorney Locations: Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio Work Arrangement: On-site, hybrid, or remote, depending on the hiring firm Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Experience Level: Senior Position Overview: Flashii is connecting with experienced Senior Personal Injury Attorneys for current and upcoming opportunities with small and midsize plaintiff-side law firms throughout Texas. We are seeking attorneys with substantial experience managing personal injury cases from initial evaluation through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation, negotiation, and client-management skills and be capable of independently managing a personal injury caseload. Key Responsibilities Manage plaintiff-side personal injury cases from intake through resolution. Evaluate liability, injuries, damages, insurance coverage, and potential case value. Develop effective case-management and litigation strategies. Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, settlement demands, and other legal documents. Conduct and defend depositions involving parties, witnesses, medical providers, and experts. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, hearings, and trials. Review medical records, accident reports, expert opinions, and supporting evidence. Collaborate with medical providers, investigators, expert witnesses, paralegals, and legal support staff. Maintain regular communication with clients and provide clear guidance throughout the legal process. Prepare cases for trial and serve as lead or supporting trial counsel. Mentor junior attorneys and legal support professionals when appropriate. Maintain compliance with court deadlines, Texas ethical standards, and firm procedures. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. 5 years' or more of relevant legal experience. Significant plaintiff-side personal injury or civil litigation experience. Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently. Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills. Experience conducting depositions and participating in mediations or arbitrations. Trial preparation or first-chair trial experience is strongly preferred. Strong organizational, case-management, and client-relationship skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Automobile and trucking accidents Catastrophic injury Products liability Medical malpractice Workplace or construction-related injuries Insurance bad-faith claims Compensation and Benefits Compensation will vary based on the specific hiring firm, location, experience, litigation background, trial experience, and portable business. Depending on the opportunity, compensation may include a base salary, performance bonuses, origination credit, partnership consideration, and benefits.
