This position is for full time days, with rotating weekends.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Advanced Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, evidence-based, and cost-effective medication therapy management for acute care patients. They apply advanced knowledge, skills, and appropriate clinical judgment in all aspects of their work. They serve as a patient advocate when providing pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary rounding team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a knowledgeable and professional manner. In addition, they promote the advancement of clinical pharmacy services within the hospital by serving on committees, participating in protocol and order set development, and providing education to colleagues and medical staff. They are primarily responsible for the direction of an assigned service line within the hospital and maintain an ongoing, self-motivated commitment to the advancement of pharmacy practice. Adherence to all regulatory and medication safety guidelines are at the forefront of all actions and decisions made by the clinical pharmacist.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pharmacist
• Doctorate Degree
