PharmacistAs a Pharmacist at Kintegra Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, conducting comprehensive Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and providing pharmacological expertise to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. You will monitor patient drug therapies, counsel patients, collaborate with providers, and oversee pharmacy operations including inventory, personnel, and compliance. This role emphasizes clinical engagement, documentation, and a commitment to accessible, community-based healthcare.Key ResponsibilitiesDispensing & Operational:Accurately and safely fill prescriptionsMaintain proper filing of CII–V prescriptionsManage perpetual inventory records for CII medicationsRemove outdated, damaged, or recalled merchandise and prepare for returnDocument and report dispensing incidents per protocolEnsure compliance with federal/state laws and internal proceduresOversee cash management and transaction accuracyTrain and develop pharmacy techniciansParticipate in audits and maintain readiness for inspectionsClinical:Conduct MTM and adherence interventions using platforms such as Outcomes MTM, EQUIPP, and AledadeMonitor drug regimens for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectivenessIdentify and resolve drug-related problems including interactions and contraindicationsProvide consultations to patients and healthcare providersParticipate in multidisciplinary rounds and clinic team meetingsDocument clinical interventions in Epic and other designated platformsSupport MAP (CRA Team) and replenishment programs (Merck and Direct Relief)Educate patients on medication administration, self-monitoring, and adherence strategiesCollaborate with providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes and chronic disease managementContribute to development of evidence-based protocols and medication safety initiativesServe as a resource for therapeutic alternatives and medication managementLeadership & Collaboration:Conduct weekly rounding with clinical staff for collaboration and consultationUtilize certified pharmacy technicians to support clinical workflowsPrecept pharmacy students and contribute to staff developmentProvide input to Clinical Oversight and Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) CommitteesDemonstrate leadership and uphold standards of pharmacy excellence and complianceMinimum QualificationsDoctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in PharmacyUnrestricted Pharmacy License in North CarolinaThree years of pharmacy experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilitiesCommitment to confidentiality and cultural sensitivityPrior experience in FQHC or public health preferredKintegra Core ValuesPatient First: Prioritize the well-being and preferences of patientsBuild Not Blame: Focus on improving systems rather than assigning faultIntegrity & Honesty: Act with transparency, fairness, and accountabilityCooperation & Flexibility: Work collaboratively as part of a supportive teamCultural Sensitivity: Respect and understand diverse backgroundsOrganizational GoalsProvide comprehensive and accessible primary care to individuals and families of all economic levels.
