Associate

The Los Angeles office of a Top-Tier Law Firm is seeking an Associate for their dynamic Labor & Employment Department with 3–7 years of experience. Job Requirements Ideal candidates will have experience handling all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions, litigation in federal and state court and arbitration. Additionally, they’re looking for candidates with experience with employment advisory matters, including preparation and updating of employee handbooks and policies, preparation and review of onboarding and separation materials, advising on leaves of absence, accommodations, and employee disciplinary matters. Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery, drafting and arguing motions including dispositive and discovery motions is also desired. Qualifications Candidates should have experience practicing Employment Litigation at a top law firm or Fortune 500 company, along with excellent academic credentials. Admission to the California bar is also required. Pay range and compensation package The salary range for this position is $245,000-$365,000. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs.
