Job Overview The Evening Shift Production Lead primarily assists/facilitates the manufacture of cement‑based and gypsum‑based architectural and non‑architectural building elements for the building and construction industry. Responsibilities Assist with communication and direction of evening shift production technicians Responsible to facilitate production work but not responsible for managing employees Acts as liaison/contact person for production technician communications to Direct Supervisors Occasionally use electric‑powered, air‑powered and hand tools. i.e. Saws, Sanders, Nail guns, Screw gun, wrenches, etc. Maintain clean and organized work areas Work with various cements, gypsums and casting materials Abilities Able to receive, comprehend and communicate direction and instruction from the management team Able to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure Participate in the GC Products manufacturing efficiency program Expected to strive for excellence and support the success and profitability of the company to the best of their ability Able to work in stationary positions for long periods of time Display professional conduct and adhere to company policies Move up to 50 lbs and transport molds from table‑to‑floor or floor‑to‑table Able to work in cold and hot ambient temperatures Preferred Experience / Minimum Qualifications Experience in manufacturing supervision: 2+ years preferred Demonstrated qualification in electric and pneumatic powered tools Forklift experience preferred Benefits Standard benefit package offerings: medical, dental, prescription drugs, life insurance; vacation and sick time.
