About the Dietary Aide Role:

As a Dietary Aide at Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality care of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. You will work closely with our dietary team to provide exceptional food service to our residents, while also adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables, and setting up food stations

• Serve meals in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that residents receive their meals at the scheduled time

• Maintain a clean and organized dining environment, including clean dishes, utensils, and equipment

• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies

• Participate in special events and activities, such as holiday celebrations and themed meals

• Collaborate with the dietary team to develop menus and ensure that dietary needs are met

• Keep accurate records of food and supply usage, and report any discrepancies to management

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in a food service or healthcare environment preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
