Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician (OBED) — Arlington, TX
Start in November (Go Live)! Join a leading facility in Arlington, TX with a supportive, multidisciplinary team. This role features 4–6 shifts per month with 24-hour in-house call (07:00 AM–07:00 AM) and a competitive pay package (see rate below). You’ll deliver and manage OBED/emergency labor care with timely starts aligned to the November go-live date.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
• Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients and monitor labor progression
• Interpret fetal heart tracings and respond to evolving labor complications
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Serve as a primary safety net for the labor and delivery unit during in-house call
• Provide consults to the Emergency Department and medical floors for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns
• Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to discharge , and participate in emergency drills/quality initiatives

What You Need
Required

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program , with robotics training
• Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
• Recent delivery and surgical experience (vaginal deliveries and C-sections)
• Ability to work 24-hour in-house call shifts (07:00 AM–07:00 AM)

Preferred

• Experience supporting emergency obstetrical procedures and evolving labor complications

About the Assignment
Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital is a 369-bed acute care and surgical facility serving the Arlington community for more than 60 years, with approximately 1,300–1,500 births annually and a 20-bed Level III NICU . You’ll work alongside a strong multidisciplinary team, including in-house neonatology coverage, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, and OB/GYN support staff (such as certified nurse midwives and family medicine physicians), using Epic for EMR support.
