Phlebotomist I

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client's medical facility, located in Cape Coral FL 33904

This is a 13-week contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Cape Coral FL 33904

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 12: 00 p.m. and every Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pay Range: $19.85 - $21.26 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Work Experience:
• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred
