Foster Family Recruitment & Licensing Coordinator

Job Title

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Interprets and applies laws, policies, and regulations in assigned area of responsibility, specifically, resource family homes, foster care, adoption and child protective services
• Maintains a general knowledge of child welfare policies and principles
• Completes Mutual Family Assessments and reassessments of resource families, kinship families and ICPC
• Maintains licensing standards for all resource homes in accordance with policy. Accurately maintains reporting and documentation on the licensing status of all resource homes.
• Engages in retention activities of resource families
• Monitor, coordinate, and administer recruitment activities that generate the quantity and quality of inquiries for viable licensed resource homes
• Maintains and implements an annual recruitment plan
• Monitors, coordinates, and administers PRIDE and other ancillary trainings
• Performs case management activities for all resource family homes

Requirements include:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or minimum of a bachelor's degree in any related field and completion of required training programs or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Minimum two years of experience in assigned program area
• Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and a Commonwealth of Virginia Social Work License preferred
• Valid driver's license
