Assembler

We are seeking an experienced Assembler with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience to join our team. This position requires the ability to obtain a government clearance due to the nature of our work. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components using various hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and other materials. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Perform assembly operations on various components following established procedures and work instructions. Assembly experience of simple hardware installation to complex integrated systems of multiple sub-assemblies. Utilize various hand tools for installation of helicoils, rivets, pemstuds, pemnuts, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and other materials to assemble products. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly. Inspect components for quality and compliance with specifications, adjusting or repairs as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines, including working cross-functionally in other areas. Communicate any issues or concerns regarding the assembly process to supervisors or quality control personnel. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times. Continuously strive for improvement in assembly techniques and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly work or a similar role. Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance. Proficiency in using hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and related equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects if required. Familiarity with safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or a related industry. Additional technical certifications or training in assembly or related fields.
