Job Summary:
The position is for a CT Technologist in Washington, D.C. This role involves operating Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality imaging while adhering to safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure. The technologist will assist physicians during procedures, prepare the room and supplies, and handle exams scheduling and charge entry.

Job Details:

• Location: Washington, D.C.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (AART), current State/District license, completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke imaging, proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system, and experience in operating CT and radiographic equipment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with body habitus analysis and patient positioning, ability to assist physicians during procedures, and familiarity with scheduling exams and entering charge codes.
• Additional Information: Must reside within 50 miles of the facility. The role requires the ability to operate and analyze imaging equipment, assist during procedures, and ensure patient safety and image quality.
