Quick Facts: Location: Gastonia, NC (2525 Court Drive) Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent position Shift: 20 hours/day coverage (day shifts with in-house neonatologists, night call from home) Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified NNP (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner) Experience: Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience (excluding RN background) Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, 401(k) with match, employee stock purchase, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and more (pay package discussed upon application) What You’ll Do: Provide specialized care for neonatal patients within a Level III NICU Collaborate closely with neonatologists and nursery staff to deliver a high standard of care Assist with newborn nursery coverage and care for approximately 320 admissions annually Work in a state-of-the-art, single-room NICU recognized as a luxurious Birthplace in the Wall Street Journal Participate in shift coverage, primarily 20 hours/day, with backup support from neonatologists for daytime and nighttime coverage Engage in patient assessment, planning, & implementation of care protocols Support patient families and provide education on neonatal health What You Need: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner board certification (FNP, PNP or other NP certifications not accepted) Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure NNP experience Valid North Carolina license or eligibility to obtain one Strong teamwork, communication, and neonatal care skills About the Assignment: Enjoy working at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, a well-established, award-winning facility located in Gastonia just outside Charlotte.
