Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations across all age groups utilizing both standardized tools and observational methods.
  • Design tailored treatment plans addressing immediate communication challenges as well as long-term care goals.
  • Deliver focused, one-on-one speech interventions related to language, fluency, voice, and swallowing concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, medical professionals, and family members to establish comprehensive care strategies.
  • Provide educational resources and support to families, enhancing their engagement in treatment processes.
  • Perform evaluations and treatments in inpatient settings as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation adhering to regulations and organizational policies.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and knowledge-sharing through continuous education opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
