Senior Category Specialist

Senior Category Specialist This role develops and refines defined category strategies for critical and/or more complex categories. Employees in this role lead negotiations and identify improvements to secure cost savings and improve quality and efficiency. An individual in this role would also be expected to mentor category specialists and establishes benchmarks and expectations for category strategies. This role involves: Develops and refines category sourcing strategy Conduct market and spend analysis Leads negotiations with key suppliers Aligns with BUs to collect requirements Develops and maintains strategic relationships with critical suppliers Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required qualifications include: High School Grad / GED Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience Experience: 4+ years Preferred qualifications include: Master's Degree NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
