Senior Manager or Associate Director, Translational Medicine Operations

Kymera Therapeutics seeks a Senior Manager or Associate Director to lead translational medicine operations for clinical studies, managing biospecimen handling, laboratory vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination from study initiation through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Lead translational medicine operations overseeing biospecimen management from study startup through closeout
- Develop and execute biospecimen operational strategies including collection, processing, shipment, and archival
- Manage central laboratory and vendor relationships including contracts, assay support, and performance monitoring
- Partner cross-functionally with translational medicine, clinical operations, and external vendors on biomarker activities
- Monitor biospecimen quality and data integrity through deviation management and root cause analysis
Requirements
- 7–10+ years experience in translational medicine operations or biomarker management in biotech/pharma
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, biomedical sciences, or clinical laboratory science
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end biospecimen operations for Phase I–III clinical trials
- Proven ability to manage central laboratory vendors and contract oversight
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with clinical, biomarker, and regulatory teams
- Experience ensuring protocol compliance, regulatory adherence, and data integrity
