Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality with at least 1 year of experience for a 10-hour evening shift position in a high-volume Trauma IV teaching hospital CT Scan department.

Details

• CT Scan department in a 46-licensed-bed Trauma IV designated teaching hospital that also serves as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
• Patient population spans a variety of diagnoses across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• 10-hour evening shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 40 hours per week with a 4-week scheduling cycle
• Weekend rotation and call requirements vary by modality and will be discussed during interview
• EMR: Epic
• Equipment includes Siemens and GE imaging systems
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of core work experience in CT or applicable modality specialty area, with most recent experience within the last year
• BLS required
• Dual Modality CT/DX: ARRT(R)(CT) required
• Active license required if applicable
• 1 professional reference dated within one year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required for consideration
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• RTO is subject to manager approval
• Orientation includes online courses (NEO) followed by 3–5 days of departmental orientation depending on modality
• Black scrubs required

• Former employees of any AHSE facility who held a permanent position must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
