Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine each client’s unique needs and establish a supportive therapeutic relationship.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor personalized treatment plans, ensuring they remain tailored to the evolving needs of clients.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and progress notes for each client in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Hold weekly individual therapy sessions while maintaining a flexible approach to accommodate client schedules and availability.

  • Regularly meet with clients to review progress, discuss challenges, and plan for future appointments or discharge as applicable.

  • Engage in individual supervision to enhance professional skills, reflect on practice, and receive constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on youth, providing necessary support and therapeutic interventions to help them navigate various mental health challenges. The counselor will work with clients dealing with a range of psychiatric issues and may address substance abuse concerns as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Our goal is to empower clients through empathetic listening, effective communication, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid and current Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a related field from an accredited program.

  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
