As a Security Officer Patrol in Carlinville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team at Allied Universal that acts with integrity.

Monday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, staff requests, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
