Maintenance technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to join our rapidly growing company near Danvers, MA. This is a full-time, permanent position on the first shift. Starting Pay: $28 - $34/hr (based on experience).

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Execute mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Scheduling and performing routine inspections and servicing on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing malfunctions, disassembling machinery, and repairing or replacing worn/damaged parts.
• Technical Work: Operating electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as performing welding or fabrication for repairs.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, including time, parts, and materials used in a CMMS or log.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Facility Upkeep: Assisting with general building maintenance (plumbing, lighting, HVAC) as needed

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
