Guest Service Representative

The Guest Service Representative (GSR) is the face of Hyatt Place Lexington, responsible for creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable experience for every guest. This position combines front desk operations, guest engagement, problem-solving, and light food-and-beverage support in alignment with Hyatt's service philosophy of care and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
• Complete check-in, check-out, and reservation processes with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide clear, helpful information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and property services
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy, urgency, and accountability
• Process payments, verify identification, and maintain accurate records
• Monitor lobby and public areas to ensure a clean, welcoming environment
• Prepare and maintain Gallery Kitchen items (as applicable), including stocking, light food prep, and ensuring breakfast area cleanliness
• Assist with market sales, beverage service, and other guest-facing amenities
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room readiness and resolve issues promptly
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, guest-focused work environment

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel systems is a plus
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
