Material Planner III

Material Planner III will manage raw materials requirements planning, supplier coordination, and production schedule alignment for the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing Division. The role balances service levels, working capital, and costs while optimizing supply chain operations in a hybrid Frederick, Maryland position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust supply plans to identify changes and optimize material requirement schedules
• Coordinate with production planning teams and suppliers to ensure delivery alignment and schedule accuracy
• Establish and maintain MRP master data parameters including safety stock levels, lead times, and replenishment policies
• Facilitate weekly supplier planning meetings to identify and resolve gaps between demand and supply
• Report on inventory metrics including back orders, excess items, and slow-moving stock to drive reduction initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or related business field
• 5 years supply chain planning or procurement experience
• 3 years regulated CGMP manufacturing experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences
• Proficiency in SAP, JDE, or comparable ERP system
• Strong analytical and data translation skills with attention to detail
• Fluent in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint
• CPIM or CSCP certification preferred
