Civil Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Civil Litigation Attorney licensed in Indiana to join our legal team. Duties Manage all phases of civil litigation cases, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity. Advise clients on options and potential outcomes. Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings with confidence and professionalism. Maintain meticulous case records and ensure compliance with all procedural rules and deadlines. Collaborate with support staff to manage legal administrative tasks efficiently and uphold the highest standards of client service. Business development of new clients. Skills Licensed in Indiana, with 5+ years of civil litigation experience and extensive knowledge of civil litigation procedures. Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for in-depth legal analysis. Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail in pleadings and discovery documents. Proven negotiation skills to facilitate settlements that align with client goals. Effective courtroom presence with experience in litigation proceedings from initial filings through trial. Superior writing skills for preparing clear and persuasive legal documents. Legal administrative experience to manage case files efficiently and meet deadlines consistently. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced legal environment.
