About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its well-established life plan community. The successful candidate will be a highly visible and engaged leader, responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the community. This role requires a strategic and operational expert with the ability to build relationships, engage teams, and drive performance. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board and executive leadership team to develop and implement strategies that ensure the community's long-term sustainability and success. Key responsibilities include fostering a culture of high accountability, resident and staff engagement, and transparent communication, as well as maintaining high standards of resident care, safety, and satisfaction. The ideal Executive Director will have a dynamic leadership style and deep, progressive experience in an aging services organization, preferably within a life plan or continuing care retirement community. They must demonstrate excellent relationship skills, strong business acumen, and a commitment to enhancing the resident experience and overall community performance. The role also involves overseeing the development and management of the annual operating budget, monitoring financial and operational metrics, and partnering with sales and marketing to drive occupancy and revenue growth. The Executive Director will be expected to set clear goals aligned with the organization's priorities, support system-wide initiatives, and contribute to broader organizational goals. Professional development and staff engagement will be a priority, and the new leader will be responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing models and workforce planning.
