Gastroenterology Health & Science Specialist - Saint Louis, MO

Pfizer seeks a field-based specialty sales representative to drive gastroenterology product launches and growth through strategic relationships with healthcare providers. The role combines sales execution, disease-state expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to improve patient access and clinical outcomes in GI practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions within assigned territory
• Build compliant relationships with healthcare providers and office staff to support product use
• Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging aligned with clinical guidelines
• Support patient access by providing reimbursement, hub, and co-pay assistance information
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key opinion leaders to advance business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or associate's degree with 8+ years work experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years work experience
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with clean driving record per company standards
• Specialty sales experience in gastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation preferred
• Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, specialty reimbursement and distribution
• Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts
• Digital engagement capability and comfort with hybrid selling models

Compensation: $108,600-$250,700 base salary plus sales incentive bonus
