This role involves working in an acute care setting, tackling a variety of medical and surgical cases. Applicants will be expected to adapt to a dynamic hospital environment while delivering exceptional nursing care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Conduct thorough assessments and care planning
• Foster effective inter-professional communication
• Utilize electronic health records for patient management
• Manage IV therapy and administration of medications including heparin and insulin drips
• Operate various equipment such as IV pumps and wound vacs
• Provide care through feeding tubes, chest tubes, and wound management

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• IN State RN license or compact RN license (as of 7/1/20)
• BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary settings
• At least 1 year of MedSurg experience in a hospital with over 450 beds
