We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanic with 3 to 5 years of tank trailer repair experience for our Spartanburg, SC. location!

Address: 120 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC. 29302.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am- 4:00pm.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
