Quality Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2027

Job Description The co‑op student will be working on job assignments related to their functional engineering discipline. These increasingly challenging assignments will provide an effective learning experience and a sound intellectual and/or financial return for the PCC organization. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Apply principles learned in school to hands‑on situations, including quality evaluations and control. Accomplish performance goals and receive progressive responsibility in quality engineering throughout the co‑op experience. Contact PCC customers and vendors while helping to improve processes. Identify and recommend process improvements for specified projects. Attend regular departmental meetings and training sessions, symposiums, and other educational opportunities. Perform or review systems analysis, testing, and documentation for existing processes. Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects. Participate on project teams for assigned projects; analyze improvements and new product or application requirements and specifications with the team. Work within specifications to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product line extensions, and product enhancements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of a related engineering discipline and functional/technical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access. Good writing skills and interpersonal skills. Education And Experience Qualifications Full‑time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Work Environment Student will spend 50%–60% of time in the manufacturing plant; minimal travel may be required. Benefits Co‑ops paid $25 per hour for 40 hours a week.
