Carpentry Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpentry Assistant to support our framing and siding crews on residential construction projects!

Carpentry Assistant Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$ 20.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:00pm)

Assist carpenters with residential framing, siding, and general construction tasks.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials under the direction of lead carpenters.
Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment.
Help install siding materials, including vinyl, wood, and fiber cement products.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the workday.
Perform general labor duties and support crews as needed to keep projects on schedule.

Carpentry Assistant Qualifications:

Previous construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, or siding experience required
Ability to read tape measures, use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required in order to get to job sites

Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
