Responsibilities include: Performs general secretarial functions and assists Sales Manager(s) in day-to-day operations of the department. Handles daily correspondence, meeting planning and travel arrangements for Manager(s). Prioritizes and distributes all incoming correspondence, faxes and general mail for Manager(s). Monitors all aspects of the department budget, including preparation of invoices, check requests and purchase orders, verification of expenditures against line items, adjusting of accounts and updating Manager(s) on a monthly basis. Maintains VisitNorfolk Sales Department merchandise including, estimates, orders, inventory and requests. Maintains organized file system (paper and electronic) for department, including accounting records. Qualifications: Excellent knowledge and functionality in use of office computer software including Excel and Word; Ability to create reports, graphs, etc.; Ability to quickly learn industry related computer software such as Canva, Adobe, and Simpleview. Ability to work with managers long distance via email and phone on a regular basis. Work requires high degree of accuracy, good judgment, excellent oral, proofreading, written communication skills and strong attention to details. Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task; Ability to meet deadlines; Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
