Responsibilities

• Implement and adjust therapeutic activities under the supervising PT, per the plan of care
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait and mobility training, and functional activities
• Monitor patient progress, document in charts, and communicate findings with the PT and interdisciplinary team
• Assist with equipment setup, transfers, and safety precautions to protect patient well-being
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe, clean treatment environment

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree required)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of related clinical experience in LTAC or skilled nursing settings preferred
• Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility and support a 13-week travel assignment
• Availability to work the specified shift pattern (08:00–16:30) and meet guaranteed hours
