Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position in a highly rated facility located in Grafton, WI. The role involves providing advanced care to critically ill patients in a Level III Trauma Center and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The position offers night shift hours and is suitable for candidates with a minimum of one year of ICU experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications; ICU experience of at least 1 year including ventilator and invasive line management (A-line, CVP, Swann), drains/tube management, Foley management, chest tubes, post-surgical recovery, and post-cath experience. Preference for CRRT (NxStage) and advanced cardiac support. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIHSS certification, CRRT experience (NxStage), and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to intermediate units, medical surgical units, emergency departments, and observation units with patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 as applicable.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 1 day with an educator followed by shift preceptorship. The candidate will work within a team that includes charge nurses, unit secretaries, intensivists, and other ICU support staff. Scrub colors are flexible, and free parking is available. Over two sick calls may lead to contract review or termination.
