Psychiatrist, Traumatic Brain Injury Focus Location: Washington Job ID: 256149 Start: ASAP End: December 31, 2026 Schedule: Per diem. Flexible scheduling, typically 1 to 5 shifts per month. Openings: 5 Travel: Travel required. Travel and lodging provided. Position Overview Provide VA Compensation and Pension examinations for Veterans focused on Traumatic Brain Injury and related psychiatric and behavioral residuals. Evaluation only. No treatment. No prescribing. Perform structured psychiatric interviews and mental status examinations. Complete applicable Disability Benefits Questionnaires in the electronic system and submit within 24 to 48 hours after the exam. Required Qualifications MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Active, unrestricted medical license. DEA may be required for credentialing.
