Facilities Maintenance TechnicianSnelling Staffing is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician with an interest in joining a facilities maintenance team at an automotive plant on the southside of San Antonio.FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN PAY/SCHEDULE/BENEFITS:Starting at $20.00/hr+ depending on experienceNo rotating shiftsSchedule: Saturday – Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMWeekly direct depositShort conversion term from contract to offer of employmentAccess to Medical / Vision / Dental benefitsFACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:Repair dock doors; including overhead doors, high-speed roll-up doors, and coiling doorsRestroom maintenancePump maintenance, greasing, lubricationBasic electrical troubleshooting of assembly line equipment, etcPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and have the ability to troubleshoot equipment that does not require a special license or certificateFACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:Must be authorized to work in the United StatesSubmit to a criminal background checkSubmit to a drug screenMust be able to lift up to 50lbsBe available to work weekends/evenings/holidaysMust have reliable transportation (no public transportation available)Possess a valid driver's licenseAll schedules for this position (full-time or part-time) can include mandatory Saturdays and/or SundaysFacial tattoos or piercings must be removable or able to be covered during the shiftMust have basic knowledge in ALL of the following areas:Electrical: Working knowledge fixtures, outletsCarpentry: drywall, paintingPlumbing: Commercial working knowledgeHVAC knowledgeMust be able to safely operate the following equipment:Boom liftForkliftScissor liftThis position requires you to perform tasks such as:being on your feet in a very warm, humid, manufacturing environmentperforming industrial maintenance repairs on facility structure
