Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $1,309 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Plantation, Florida. Travel type, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Pay package based on shifts with tax‑free stipend. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in acute care and other clinical areas, including evaluations and treatment per procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize patient care. Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience. Valid BLS certification; ACLS required; PALS and NRP may be required for certain sites. Travel experience preferred; ability to work nights. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid state license to practice in Florida. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Lift up to 20 pounds easily; may need to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Good vision, including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjustable focus.
