Position Overview Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Details Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Discipline: RN Specialty: OR - Operating Room Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location: Nashville, Tennessee Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, a minimum of 2 years OR experience, prior travel experience, and the ability to circulate in the OR. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in most service lines except cardiac. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with potential late stays based on unit needs. Additional Information: Orientation occurs on 07/20, 07/27, 08/03, and 08/10. Candidates must have completed the COVID-19 vaccine series or have a valid exemption by the start date, with no exceptions. Vanderbilt requires all travelers to meet this requirement. Scope of Work: Responsibilities may include circulating in a variety of case types such as neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary. The OR team supports adult patients only; no pediatric cases. Float between locations is possible but not guaranteed.
