CNA/Caregiver - Home Health

Careage At Home is hiring a Compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part‑time position covering Pierce County. The hourly rate ranges from $21.00 to $25.00, depending on experience. Applicants must hold a current CNA license in Washington, First Aid/CPR certification, and a Food Handlers Card. Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide direct care to patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities Understand and adhere to established agency policies and procedures. Perform personal care, bathing, and hands‑on care as assigned. Complete appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per agency policy. Report changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN. Perform household services essential to health care in the home as assigned. Ambulate and exercise the patient as assigned. Assist with medications that are ordinarily self‑administered as assigned. Attend in‑service and continuing education programs as scheduled and necessary. Attend patient care conferences as scheduled. Working Environment Works indoors in the agency office and in patient homes, traveling to and from patient homes. Lifting Requirements Ability to participate in physical activity. Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and involving physical activity. Ability to perform heavy lifting.
