ARRT (CT) BLS Florida State DOH License Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 24 Number of Staff: 14 Type of staff: Radiologists, radiologic techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs Day Shift Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs Night Shift Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient Type of equipment: All GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy EMR: Meditech Call Requirements: Yes, 4-6 shifts a month (on off day) Typical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first List of typical procedures performed: CT Scan MRI Body scanner X-Rays Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create an accurate picture assessment Best personality fit: Communication skills Medical and anatomical skills Mechanical aptitude Ability to multi-task Ability to work with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients Dress Code: Scrub Color: Black, must provide their own Awards/Recognition: 472 bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex specializing in various services.
