Job TitlePrincipal Pgrm Mgmt AssociateFunctional TitleSenior Action OfficerContract position State LocationChantilly, VA US (Primary)EducationBachelor's Level DegreeJob TypeFull-timeJob DescriptionSenior Level Action Officer - this is a contingent requisiton for future efforts.Tasks:Lead, develop, and streamline the Director's Action Group (DAG) support functionsIdentify internal and external issues that may impact the NRO and take appropriate action as approved by the U.S. GovernmentDraft, consolidate, coordinate, and edit executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with organizational strategic objectives; apply an in-depth knowledge and understanding of DoD/IC issues, policies, programs, and procedures affecting the NROMake recommendations and prepare briefings, point papers, and other materials based on analysis of complex policy issues and documentsParticipate in external committees, Integrated Process Teams (IPTs), working groups, and task forcesEnsure critical information is disseminated to internal and external agencies including the OSD, ODNI, and mission partner equivalent officesPerform and maintain DAG support functions to include recognition programs, training, and securityManage NRO TIER actions for supported officeAnalyze and assign or perform actions, as appropriateCoordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management reviewManage and execute the action tracking process, develop standard operating procedures, and serve as facilitator for user requirementsMonitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending, and new actionsDisseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the NRODraft, proofread, edit, and provide final review of internal and external correspondenceCoordinate and maintain presentations for audiences up to the NRO-Level, maintain a quality control process for all presentationsParticipate in DAG-related meetingsManage records generated during the execution of the Directorate's projects and programs IA W Federal Laws and Regulations, as well as NRO Directives and InstructionsDesired Skill Set:Senior Level AOs possess the same desired skill set as the Intermediate Level.
