Job Summary:

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Ohio is responsible for delivering high-quality pediatric respiratory care within a healthcare organization. Job Details:

• Location: Columbus, Ohio
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapist license, certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Associate's degree or equivalent in Respiratory Therapy, Ohio state licensure, 1 or more years of experience providing pediatric respiratory care
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patient care, proficiency in pulmonary function testing, familiarity with bronchoscopy and chest tube procedures
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment (including invasive and non-invasive devices), performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, arterial puncture, EKG, and assisting with respiratory procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placements. Tasks also encompass maintaining documentation, communicating with medical teams, and ensuring safe operation of all respiratory equipment. The candidate should demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
