**This is a Part-Time position located in Horicon, WI. Total hours are variable and coordinated based on client needs and staff availability, offering a highly flexible schedule . This position guarantees 6-8 hours per week starting, extending into overnight services in the family's home by September. Additional hours available based on staff availability and client needs.**

What You Will Do

• Provide in-home support to youth with autism in collaboration with families and care teams.
• Assist in development of consistent routines and strategies to support the client. 
• Use basic to intermediate ASL to communicate with family members and promote consistency in language development skills.
• Maintain flexibility and the ability to adapt for individualized support strategies following established care plans.
• Encourage social/emotional awareness and regulation skills with the ability to remain calm in high-energy situations.
• Support development of communication, safety awareness, and daily living skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and help maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Document observations, progress, and relevant session details accurately.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers and team members regarding needs, progress, and concerns.

What We Are Looking For

• Basic to intermediate ASL proficiency required.
• Experience supporting children, youth, or individuals with autism preferred.
• Experience in early childhood education/child-care, nanny, or personal experience is relevant. 
• Growth mindset with strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a calm, supportive approach. 
• Ability to follow care plans, take direction, and work independently in a home setting.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent support.
• Comfortable maintaining professional boundaries and respecting family routines.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in behavioral support, special education, paraprofessional work, or direct care.
• Knowledge of autism support strategies and trauma-informed, person-centered practices.
• CPR/First Aid certification & Mandated Reporter training or willingness to obtain if required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
