Responsibilities Take ownership of projects, managing client communication, deadlines, deliverables, budgets, and ensuring top‑notch quality. Master project execution from start to finish. Guide and train junior engineers, building the next generation of transportation professionals. Contribute to business development by networking, connecting, and helping win new projects. Lead analysis, design, and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, and reports for our valued clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction. Perform client communication and reporting, deadline and deliverable management, agency coordination, scope and fee development, and project scheduling and tracking activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable engineering or applied science degree). 4+ years of experience in roadway design. 2+ years of progressive project management experience. Texas Professional Engineering license (or ability to obtain it within 6 months). Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage design. Experience with MicroStation and Open Roads/Open Roads Designer. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on or with the Texas Department of Transportation and understanding their design requirements and/or LGPP projects.
