JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
PAY RANGE : $28 - $36   | SHIFT: 1st Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm

QUICK SUMMARY
Prototek is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, facility systems, company vehicles, and grounds while partnering with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and fleet vehicles
• Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently
• Schedule preventative maintenance and oversee outside service providers
• Support facility improvements related to productivity, safety, quality, and ergonomics
• Maintain facility grounds, building systems, and safety compliance standards
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience maintaining production equipment, facilities, and building systems
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment documentation
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Forklift certification or trainer certification is a plus
