Pop is looking to hire a speech therapist to join our multidisciplinary team! WHY POP? POP stands for the power of play. Pop is a neurodiverse affirming , therapist owned, multi- disciplinary pediatric center. We provide a collaborative, supportive, and engaging environment where our therapists receive weekly group and individual supervision. Our therapists are trained to use the POWER OF PLAY in their treatment with children. POP provides opportunities for: Working with children birth to 21 Working onsite in a warm and bright clinic setting Working with early intervention clients in the home and community Group and individual treatment Co-treats/Collaboration with other disciplines Staff development and training days onsite at POP Fun team outings and gatherings throughout the year Continuing education paid for by POP Large motor gyms and smaller rooms for meeting client’s therapy needs Upward growth opportunities in the organization Responsibilities Evaluate and assess patients' areas for growth and develop individualized treatment plans Support the patient's speech and language development using total communication strategies including AAC Demonstrate understanding and use of Gestalt Language Processing framework Educate patients and their families to ensure carryover of treatment ideas within the natural environment Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Skills Experience working with pediatric patients and within the Early Intervention system is preferred.
