CNC Machinist
This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining efficient production and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC machining experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize machining processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements of the CNC Machinist
5+ years of CNC machining experience with programming, set-up, and machine operation.
Experience editing and adjusting CNC programs to optimize production.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Basic computer skills; ERP system experience is a plus.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce quality parts that meet customer specifications.
Make program and tooling adjustments to improve quality, efficiency, and machine performance.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate quality standards.
Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Train and support machine operators on safe operating procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
2nd and Split Shift options available, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $32.00 - $38.00 hourly, based on experience
